Abi Flannigan and Aoife Teer This project aims to educate young people about the benefits of gardening, focusing on how it can enhance mental health and help regulate emotions. Using gardening as a therapeutic tool, the project took place across local schools, community groups, teaching practical skills to others, fostering a positive impact within the community.

Maggie Walsh and Natalia Borysowski New Heights combined reconnecting with nature and raising awareness about drug and alcohol use through hiking. Participants engaged in a balanced mix of hikes, informational sessions, and team-building activities focused on substance awareness. Led by The Agents alongside professionals, the hikes were well-attended and had many people experiencing hiking for the first time. The project offered a fresh, engaging approach to promoting healthy choices and outdoor exploration.

Sophie Rossbotham & Grace Rogan Rise Above the Ashes is designed to help young people, aged 10-13, build confidence, resilience, and friendships after experiencing bullying. Aimed at those transitioning from primary to secondary school, the project used art and creativity as a means of self-expression and healing. Participants engaged in a variety of creative workshops, including journaling, drama, and visual arts, alongside teambuilding activities and social outings. Each session provided a supportive space for them to express themselves, connect with peers, and grow together.

Michael and Lily A podcast to support members of the LGBTQ+ community. Local figures were invited to talk about their identities talking about their experiences growing up, how their identity affects their work, and advice they would offer their younger selves or others in the community, who struggle to show their individuality.

Cara and Meabh Cúpla Focal is the Irish for 'A Couple of Words'. A project that offers a flexible way to learn and promote the Irish language, in a fun, memorable way, for children 8-12 from all backgrounds. Every participant received an award Cainteoir na Seachtaine, Irish Speaker of the Week along with goodie bags.

Beth A project that brings groups of young women and men together to discuss, learn and share their stories. Beth teaches young people to pursue healthy relationships and identify warning signs while having fun through interactive activities. Beth designed interactive activities — including a Jenga game and a red flag/green flag exercise — to get young people talking with each other.

Ella and Helena A project helping teens with addictions by forming a youth group aged between 12-20, where they work towards creating a mural in North Belfast while learning how to cope with addiction.
