What does The Agency feel like on the ground? Meet Agency Correspondents, Alumni who are telling The Agency’s story to life from the inside. They capture and share creative content about the movement, Agents and staff behind the scenes.
Why “Correspondent”?
We see Agency Correspondents as local reporters, based in one of our delivery partner locations - Storyhouse at Chester, Contact at Manchester and Octagon Theatre at Bolton. Correspondents represent The Agency location where they are based. They go into sessions and events, soak up the energy in the room and capture the story in a way that is approachable, authentic and fun.
What do they actually do?
Correspondents capture content through creative formats like images, videos and interviews. Last year, Correspondents took on a range of creative challenges, from asking people what they would change if they were the mayor to recording podcasts with Agents - listen here. Some Correspondents even went into the Parliament to do vox pop interviews with guests.
Who are the Correspondents?
Every Correspondent is an Alumni of The Agency programme, who receive payment, training and support. They are building their storytelling skills through taking photos and videos at The Agency sessions.
Meet the Correspondents:
When we asked Hannah what inspires her to create and share stories, she said:
“My inspiration to create and share stories is the ability to create connections between people, showing proof that we are never truly alone in the experiences we take on in daily life. It’s also the joy that these stories can bring to people who get to see something new, and people who get to relate and connect to the stories being told.” – Hannah, Bolton Agency Correspondent
